What are the Steps of Invisalign?

During your appointment at our Jupiter office, Dr. Fotek will take a 3D digital initial scan of your teeth. The Invisalign lab will create your aligners from these images.  

You will receive the first aligner tray in our office, and this tray will more than likely fit snugly on your teeth. The goal of this aligner is to shift your teeth into their starting position.

After a couple of weeks, you will move into the second Invisalign tray. Basically, you continue changing aligner trays every two weeks until your teeth are in the final straightened position. Most people wear their Invisalign aligner trays for less than 12 months.
